Gemini is energetic, talkative and outgoing. Despite restrictions still in place for most people, this month will have most of us wanting to socialize more than of late, and will potentially bring about a feeling of being trapped if we aren’t able to. Of course, there are other ways of socializing these days, thanks to technology. Gemini can be a bit of a scatterbrain, so it is possible we will find ourselves forgetting details and even appointments, particularly since Gemini loves to take in information, which could mean overload. Gemini also loves to uncover facts and with so much uncertainty in our world, we could find ourselves playing detective and being inspired to push for change. However, it may be difficult to separate fact from fiction since there seem to be so many misunderstandings surrounding the many crisis’ which seem to be popping up non stop recently and the drama seems to just be increasing. Gemini is ruled by Mercury and is therefore, the sign of communication, however, on June 17th, Mercury will retrograde through watery Cancer, meaning that we will be more likely to keep our thoughts and emotions to ourselves than is usual during Gemini season, add to this the fact that Venus is currently retrograde inn Venus and communication is very much the focus but with more emphasis on miscommunication. Make sure to check that you have a proper understanding of the facts and reality of any situation you are talking about, choose your words carefully and try not to let emotions get too heated.
The first card is the 10 of Swords, suggesting that this is a week for ending things such as old habits, inner conflict or any negative situation and liberating your mind from any chaos and suffering you may be dealing with. This is just as likely to be a sudden move as the straw that broke the camels back. We may be at a point where we feel that since there is nothing more to lose, we may as well take the risk and plow forward to our new beginning. However, be aware that sometimes it is better to not act too hastily and to give careful thought to the situation before taking action.
The next cards is the 6 of Wands can often represent victory or suggest that victory is imminent. It is an optimistic card which shows new opportunities appearing in our lives, or feeling good about our recent achievements and also encourages us to inspire others. You may experience intense emotions and great joy in relationships and recognize how fortunate you are to be part of it. If you have been struggling with something, let go of any associated fears which may have stopped you from reaching your goals and look forward with confidence.
The World is our final card for the week and indicates that our hopes and dreams are about to become a reality, following the completion of an project or endeavor. You may soon feel happy and relaxed but it is equally likely that you will be feeling passionate and dynamic. There is a feeling of deep satisfaction, bring about a new awareness of of the way things really are. It is a week of openness and vitality and of feeling in rhythm with nature and those around us.
Have a wonderful week!
This weeks cards are Queen of Cups, Magician and Two of Swords.
The Queen of Cups is saying that this will be a week for internally erasing boundaries between dreams and reality. It is easier than usual, to tune in to your higher self, particularly through meditation and if you do so, it will be purifying for your soul and result in a feeling of emotional ease and a greater love for yourself and those around you.
The Magician continues with this theme as he is poised between the conscious and unconscious, creating and shaping reality. He says that it is time to tap in to your creativity in order to either take control of your current situation, or to change tack and create a whole new one. Use your belief in yourself, intensify your positive thoughts, as you claim your power and push forward in the knowledge you achieve this.
The Two of swords signifies a great sense of peace and calm, after reconciling the energies of conscious and unconscious. By balancing both sides of your mind, anything contradictory will be resolved peacefully, leaving you feeling organized and calm.
Taurus is ruled by the Hierophant Tarot Card. Despite Taurus’ love of luxury, they tend to be practical and down to earth, which is very much depicted by the Hierophant, who is all about tradition reliability. The Hierophant is reliable and stable and holds a position of authority, all very Taurean features. He also brings a spiritual message of truth and wisdom, in a very down to earth and no nonsense way. He enjoys good communication, good food and plenty of substance.
Taurus’ Runes are Thurisaz and Ansuz
Thurisaz is a protective rune and can be indicative of sudden upheavel. It is a rune of creative male energy and can signify either attack or defense. It is helpful in changing bad habits and overcoming fears. It can also represent a new awakening after hearing news and decisions which need to be made.
Ansuz is the rune of divine breath which gives life. It is another rune of awakening, bringing a consciousness that helps us power forward, taking control of our lives. It represents stability, order, knowledge and wisdom. Ansuz brings us a message from unexpected sources and the message that it can be counted on in difficult times.

Taurus, the sign of the Bull, is an earth sign and tends to be more steady and grounded, than the previous sign of Aries. Taurus likes to plan and build and loves a practical and sustainable plan. In much of the northern hemisphere, we are planning or beginning to plant our gardens. This is perfect for Taurus, slow, steady and productive, like the eventual growth of your garden. Taurus is quite detail orientated and patient with an eye on the bigger picture, to ensure the best outcome. It is time to plant seeds for the future, in every aspect of our lives.
This sign is also ruled by Venus, the planet of love and beauty, so is known for its sensuality and love of luxury and indulgence. This is a great time for self care and for beautifying your space. Although Taurus has a love for the finer things in life, they care little for anything gauche or gaudy, quality is very important to them and they also love to love.
After the upheaval in our world over the last couple of months, and the many changes most of us have endured, it should be a calmer time over all, even if we can’t get back to normal life. For lots of us, the days are longer and sunnier and it is time to get outside and enjoy the weather, relax a little more than we have of late as we somewhat get used to some of the changes. It’s a great time to get creative, maybe get back to previous hobbies, or find a new one. It is also a good time to concentrate on our relationships, to build them and make them more solid, to give back to those who have been there for us and return the support they gave. Try to find joy in the small things this month and enjoy!
