Sagittarius is all about fun, adventure and passion, things start to lighten up after the heavy Scorpio energies. Sagittarius dreams big and often fulfills those dreams, because of their endless drive and optimism, as well as being ruled by Jupiter, the planet of luck. They are extremely resilient and epitomise “when life throws you lemons, make lemonade’. Sag learns from life’s knocks and chalks it up to experience, quickly moving on to the next adventure. During Sag season, take a leaf out of their book and roll with any punches. Dust yourself down and make it a funny story for the future. Sagittarians are know for their love of travel, even if it is just in their head, so you may feel restless during this time, with a thirst for knowledge and new experiences. Take a risk and shoot for the stars, who knows where you might end up. That’s not to say that you should entirely throw caution to the wind, Sag can be a little too hell bent on doing things just for the thrill of it, but try something new, make travel plans, learn about something a little unusual. Have fun over these few weeks, before the more serious and grounded Capricorn season comes around.
Temperance is the ruling Tarot card for Sagittarius. Temperance depicts enlightenment which Sag is always searching for and tends to find due to their sense of adventure and need to explore both the physical and philosophical world. Temperance is all about calm and balance, which Sag usually achieves quite naturally. Temperance encourages us to look at the bigger picture, much like a Sagittarius does.
Tiwaz and Berkana are Sagittarius’ runes.
Tiwaz is all about victory, honour and righteousness. It is named after the northern god Tyr, the god of law and justice. This rune says that it is time to serve and lead whilst acting with honour and making decisions that benefit all, which might also mean making sacrifices and being disciplined in order to be successful.
Berkana is the rune of fertility, growth and rebirth. This can depict a fresh start, either personally or in business. It is about nurturing, protection and support, perhaps pregnancy. It is a time to plant the seeds of growth for the future, knowing that whatever is started now will be successful.
